Tour - Day Five

I wish wish wish I had not forgotten to charge my camera last night, because we had such a lovely post driving, sunny day in Brisbane today.
I woke up surprisingly early for someone in my condition, and called mum and bf to catch up. Then Sam, Josh and Nathaniel arrived back from dropping the rental off at the airport and we decided to let the sleeping dogs lie (Dave and Art sleep about 16 hrs each day) and we trundled off into the city for breakfast. There is one thing you notice when you travel Australia as much as we do, and that is that all the big city dwellers own dogs. There are dogs everywhere in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, I have to wonder how they all keep them in their town houses and apartments?! The point is that we saw the most adorable dogs as we were sitting to breakfast, and beautifully tanned and stunning girls to. See? This is why I wish I'd had my camera!!
When we got back to the hostel, Dave and Art were awake and showered and looking much better rested than the rest of us. But they'd missed out on girls and dogs...
This is how we spent the rest of the day... I fell asleep:

At around 5:30 it was time to head to sound check again. We were all not feeling the best, but knew that tonight would be fun. We played at the Troubadour to a near sold out room. Can Not Complain!

Good show, sensible night, we went back to the hostel to get drunk. Sam and I stayed up until 5am for some reason, probably because I'd drunk waaaaaaay to much goon and taken a No Dose Plus and drunk two Red Bulls before the show because I was so sleepy.
Gah, Never learn...
