Tour - Perth Trip

We flew in to Perth too early on a Thursday morning, and I accidentally
had 3 long blacks before we'd even landed. I was dying for a cigarette, but of course, they don't sell them at the airport!

We have way too much gear, we should really invest in one of those crate things that carries everything all together. I suppose that would be a bitch to carry...

Soccer is absolutely everywhere at the moment. I found this park in the centre of town with only three groups of people watching, but they'd decked out the whole square with flags and BBQ's and stuff. Every pub you walk into has the goddam world cup blaring from all directions.

Perth has some pretty cool things going for it. The money made from all the mining and stuff is getting pumped straight back into the urban environment and infrastructure. It's pretty crazy, but makes for a very beautiful and complex city.

I find Perth so beautiful, there are some absolutely stunning old buildings and some pretty cool contemporary architecture, but the skyline in just littered with cranes, it feels like a bit of a building site, to be honest...

Anyway, we played three shows, Bunbury, Freemantle and Perth and there was a lot of partying! Most of those photos are pretty incriminating, so you'll just have to image what three bands might get up to with a lot of free alcohol and a few hotel rooms...
